2ER BUILDERS JAM . . . DAYS 3-4 I GUESS . . .

Building of the 'Fox track', which split the tent in half was coming along nicely. We got a head start on the concrete trucks and ended up using mixers for the whole thing and as you can see it was one of the better spots to spend the cold rainy nights. Thanks to Alex, Felix, Danny and Daryl for taking me on like an annoying apprentice with a zillion questions!
The sun was out, Jan Kliewer was parading around in boxer shorts, the frames were constructed and stacked with what ever we could get our hands on. Scotsmen Alex Irvine made it his business to maintain that a sturdy flow of heavy metal was bleeding from the speakers for the arrival of the concrete truck. The sun even popped out to say hello but Lennie and Jupi knew what was just around the corner . . . Mother nature once again shelled us with her ammunition as we took retreat under the makeshift shelters troweling for our lives. The Bum beers were flowing harder then ever this day, and man did I pick a bad week to try and lay off drinking. Skate dads even enjoyed a cheeky little afternoon joint and beer with the daughter on site to soak it all up while the rain eased for a second.
